I completed my studies in Boston, Massachusetts. There, I attended Berklee College of Music graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Performance, Magna Cum Laude and a minor in musical theater, as well as Boston University where I earned my Master of Music in Voice Performance degree, Pi Kappa Lambda.

Although teaching singing was always something I saw myself doing, my teaching career took off really fast when friends who had just graduated with their singing degrees noticed that  I had a way of helping them overcome their technical challenges. Word spread, and since those first lessons years ago my studio grew to welcome professional classical and musical theater singers, actors, as well as pre-professional young singers building their fundamental technique or preparing for higher education auditions.

I have been very fortunate to have worked with very talented singers who have gone on to successfully audition or have graduated from institutions like the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and Berklee College of Music. Although I am a classical and musical theater specialist, I have also helped a big number of pop singers and singer-songwriters train or retrain their voices and overcome technical struggles.

Outside of the teaching studio and when not singing myself, I offer career coachings on a limited basis. Former clients have been accepted into Longy School of Music of Bard College, Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and various other universities in the United Kingdom and the United States, both for undergraduate as well as for graduate study and in most cases with significant funding.

I am currently on the voice faculty of the Broadway Academy  of Musical Theater's professional 4-year program in Vienna. I also maintain a selective private studios in Antwerp, Belgium and Vienna, Austria.

Ektoras is an exceptional voice teacher whose passion for the arts has inspired me to expand my vocal abilities. His expertise in musical precision allows him to dissect sounds and help students understand the theoretical and anatomical aspects of the voice, which has aided me in labeling sounds for my own personal and artistic growth. Ektoras is not only a generous and kind teacher, but he has also allowed me to open up and stand in the power of my own instrument.
